The IMobS³ LabEx has at its disposal several experimental platforms to carry out its research activities including the Auvergnate Platform for Intelligent Vehicles (PAVIN) and the technical platform of SIGMA Clermont.

PAVIN VU	The PAVIN platform "Urban Vehicle" which simulates a mini-city with available various electric vehicles to work on the algorithms to increase the degree of autonomy of the latter.
PAVIN VMN	The PAVIN platform "Vehicle in Natural Environment" which is on the site of Montoldre d'Irstea in the Allier (03). This 70-hectare site makes it possible to develop various vehicles at high speeds and under multiple conditions of adhesion.
PAVIN B&P	The PAVIN platform "Fog & Rain" of the Cerema which is composed on the one hand of a tunnel allowing to simulate degraded atmospheric conditions for the fog as well as the rain (platform unique on the national level) and on the other hand of a mobile layout that can be deployed on PAVIN VU and PAVIN VMN.
SIGMA	IMobS3 LabEx players find within the technical platform of the SIGMA Clermont Engineering School devices for dextral manipulation as well as for machining or finishing.
